Special Campaigns

One of the unique strengths of SimpleTexting is a pre-built selection of Special Campaigns that extend your marketing reach by collecting data, managing “text-to-win” contests and “text-to-vote” surveys, polling subscribers, sending birthday greetings, and group texts from your mobile phone.

1. To access Special Campaigns, log in to SimpleTexting at https://app2.simpletexting.com/auth using the credentials supplied by VinterActive, then click on the Apps link located in your mail admin control menu.

2. The Data Collection app allows wine marketers to automatically ask new subscribers using any keyword to provide any data fields you’d like.

This app allows you to:

• Name your data collection app

• Link your app to a keyword

• Specify if an optional confirmation message will be sent before asking contacts for their data

• Define which data fields you’ll ask for

• Write a question asking customers for their answer

• Add more questions as you’d like

• Specify whether your contacts will receive a follow-up message after answering your questions

3. The Text to Win Contests app allows wine marketers to offer a contest to opt-in subscribers. SimpleTexting automatically picks as many winners as you’d like when the contest is over.

4. The Text to Vote Survey and Polling Subscribers app both allow wine marketers to manage surveys of opt-in contacts. The difference between these two apps is that the “text-to-vote” option includes a free compliance message.

Both apps offer the option of sending survey/poll results to participants.

5. The Birthday Texts app allows wine marketers to gather the date of birth of opt-in subscribers and automatically send a personalized message on their special day.

6. The Group Text from Phone app allows you to enter your cell number to activate an app that allows you to author and send bulk texts to your list from your mobile phone.
