Confirming Inbox Settings

1. Log in to SimpleTexting at https://app2.simpletexting.com/auth using the credentials supplied by VinterActive.

2. Select Inbox from SimpleTexting’s main menu, click the “away message” icon next to your SMS phone number, and select the Away settings menu.

3. Use the Away Message window to activate or de-activate a custom message displayed whenever contacts text your brand outside of regular office hours.

NOTE: Away Messages can include an image, emoji, or a custom link.

4. To select the hours your Away Message will be active, click Only send outside of office hours to edit the times and days of the week your staff will be available to reply to customer inquiries.

5. Once you’ve confirmed your Away message, return to the Inbox and click on the three vertical dots displayed in the upper right.

6. From the Inbox settings menu, you can control

  • What types of messages you display in your inbox

  • When customer conversations are automatically closed
